0:00 Did you know a glow-worm’s light is made by mixing two special things inside its body, almost like a tiny, living lantern?0:11 It reminds me of the little wonders our friend Milo the mushroom found under his great oak tree.0:20 Tonight’s story is also about a very small creature who discovered something magical in the quiet of the night.0:31 Her name was Lumi, and she was a tiny glow-worm, nestled on a soft, velvety fern leaf.0:39 The moon was just a sliver in the sky, and the forest was painted in deep, sleepy shadows.0:48 Lumi’s tail glowed with a gentle, greenish light.0:53 It was her own personal star, right there with her in the big, dark woods.1:00 Most nights, she was happy to just sit and shine for herself.1:06 But tonight… tonight felt different.1:09 She felt a little wiggle in her heart, a quiet curiosity.1:14 What was beyond her fern?1:17 Slowly, carefully, Lumi began her journey.1:21 She crawled down the stem of the fern and onto the mossy ground.1:27 The moss felt like a cool, damp carpet under her.1:32 In the darkness, she saw a moth fluttering its wings in a panic.1:38 It had lost its way to the sweet-smelling moonflowers.1:43 A little further on, a tiny field mouse shivered, unable to see the path back to its cozy burrow.1:52 The whole forest seemed a little lost, a little lonely in the deep dark.1:59 Lumi’s own light felt very small.2:02 What could one little glow-worm possibly do?2:07 She saw a beetle, stuck and confused at the bottom of a big root.2:13 It couldn’t see how to climb over.2:16 Lumi thought for a moment.2:19 Then, she took a deep breath… and she let her light shine just a little bit BRIGHTER.2:27 Not for herself, but for the beetle.2:30 The soft glow lit up the root, showing a perfect little path over the top.2:37 The beetle wiggled its antennae in thanks and scurried on its way.2:44 Oh!2:44 A warm feeling spread through Lumi, a feeling even warmer than her own light.2:51 From that moment on, Lumi’s journey changed.2:56 She wasn’t just exploring anymore.2:59 She was sharing.3:00 She shone her light for the moth, guiding it toward the pale, sweet flowers.3:08 She cast her glow for the field mouse, lighting the way to its warm, earthy home.3:15 Her one little light became a beacon of kindness.3:20 Other glow-worms saw what she was doing.3:24 One by one, they added their own lights, creating soft pools of peace all through the undergrowth.3:33 The dark, lonely forest began to twinkle.3:37 Lumi found a soft patch of moss and curled up, her heart full.3:43 She wasn’t just one little light anymore.3:47 She was part of a soft, glowing blanket of friendship, spread all across the forest floor.3:56 And everything was calm.3:58 And everything was bright.
