0:00 The night sky was a blanket of deep, deep velvet.0:05 Tucked into its folds were a million shimmering stars.0:11 One of these stars was named Starlight.0:15 She had just watched a tiny dream find its perfect pillow, and it made her wonder.0:24 It made her wonder about her own secret dream.0:29 You see, Starlight wanted to twinkle a brand new color.0:36 A color no one had ever seen before.0:40 All her brothers and sisters shimmered a brilliant silver-white.0:47 It was a lovely color.0:49 But Starlight felt something else inside her heart.0:55 A color that was waiting to be born.0:59 So, with a brave little shimmer, she decided to go on an adventure.1:06 She wobbled out of her cozy spot in the Milky Way.1:12 Her journey had begun.1:14 First, she floated toward a great, shining lion.1:20 It was Leo, the constellation.1:23 His mane was made of blazing golden stars.1:28 "Excuse me, Mister Leo," she whispered.1:32 His big, golden light felt warm and kind.1:36 "Can you tell me how to find a new color?" The great lion blinked his starry eyes.1:46 He let out a soft, rumbling laugh that sounded like distant bells.1:53 "My light is the color of courage," he said gently.1:59 "It has always been gold.2:01 I don't know how to make another."
He smiled at her.2:07 "But that is a wonderful question, little one." So Starlight twinkled a thank you, and drifted on.2:18 Soon she came upon a beautiful, quiet giant.2:23 It was Saturn, the wise old planet.2:27 His rings spun slowly, made of ice and ancient dust.2:33 They glittered like a thousand tiny diamonds.2:38 Starlight felt very small next to his calm majesty.2:43 She asked her question again, in a voice as soft as stardust.2:50 "How do I twinkle a color that is all my OWN?" Saturn didn't answer right away.2:59 He just hummed a low, peaceful song.3:03 A song as old as time itself.3:06 Then he spoke, his voice a deep, slow rumble.3:11 "Your light is not something you find out here, little star."
He paused.3:19 "Your light comes from INSIDE you.3:23 It is made of what you love most." Starlight blinked.3:29 Inside her?3:30 She thanked the wise old planet and floated away.3:35 But this time, she didn't search the sky.3:40 She just floated, very still, in the quiet darkness.3:46 She closed her little star eyes.3:49 And she thought about everything she loved.3:54 She thought about the deep, soft quiet of space.3:59 She thought about the Moon's silvery smile.4:04 She thought about the soft pink and gentle orange of the sunrise she sometimes saw, just before she went to sleep.4:17 She remembered the happy feeling of watching that little dream find its pillow.4:26 She thought about warmth, and kindness, and happy sighs.4:32 And as she did, something began to happen.4:36 A tiny glow started in the very center of her being.4:42 It wasn't silver-white.4:45 It was a soft, gentle swirl of rose-gold.4:49 It had streaks of silvery lavender.4:53 And the faintest, warmest hint of sleepy-time blue.4:59 It was the most beautiful color she had ever seen.5:04 The other stars stopped their twinkling to watch.5:10 They had never seen a light so lovely.5:14 Starlight hadn't needed to find a new color at all.5:20 She just needed to look inside her own heart.5:25 Her light was made of her own happiness.5:29 And now, as you close your eyes, perhaps you can see it.5:35 Starlight's special, peaceful glow… twinkling just for you.5:42 A lullaby of light, to guide you into your dreams.
