0:00 Palantir just got named one of BlackRock's thirty most important AI stock picks.0:04 In episode forty-nine, we dug into the AI chip market shake-up, and this is the next chapter.0:09 The smart money is starting to look past the hardware — past the picks and shovels — and is now betting on who’s actually going to find the gold.0:17 Okay, here’s what else is moving this Monday morning.0:20 First, your phone and your TV are about to get a behind-the-scenes upgrade.0:24 Samsung and Sharp just joined the VVC Advance Patent Pool.0:27 Now, that sounds incredibly boring, but here's why it matters: VVC is the next-generation video codec.0:33 It’s the tech that will compress 4K and 8K video so it doesn't break your internet.0:37 By joining the pool, Samsung and Sharp are basically agreeing on the rules of the road for licensing this critical technology.0:44 This move consolidates power, makes it easier for companies to build VVC into their products, and signals the standard is ready for PRIME time.0:52 It's a power play in the plumbing of the entire streaming world.0:55 Next, a story about materials.0:57 An Australian company, First Graphene, just signed a deal to start selling its advanced cement additive, PureGRAPH CEM, in China.1:04 Why do you care about...1:05 cement?1:06 Because this isn't just any additive.1:08 It's a graphene-based product designed to make concrete stronger and more durable.1:12 This is a tech-export story where advanced materials, born in a lab, are heading straight for the biggest construction market on the planet.1:20 It’s a quiet but massive move.1:21 And finally, the big picture.1:23 The tech rally is wobbling.1:24 After a huge second quarter, the market is getting nervous.1:28 Investors are glued to their screens, waiting for minutes from the Fed's last meeting and early earnings reports from giants like PepsiCo.1:35 Everyone's asking the same question: was the first-half AI boom a real, sustainable surge, or just a sugar high?1:41 The answer will dictate where the market — and your portfolio — goes next.1:45 So let's go back to Palantir.1:47 Because BlackRock putting them on a list of thirty stocks isn't just a nice headline.1:52 It's a fundamental signal about a shift in the AI economy.1:55 For the last two years, the entire conversation has been dominated by one company: Nvidia.2:00 It was all about the chips, the hardware, the raw computing power.2:03 Who can build the biggest, fastest engine?2:06 But BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, is telling you to look at the DRIVER, not just the engine.2:11 Palantir doesn't make chips.2:13 They make sense of data.2:14 They build the software platforms that governments and massive corporations use to run their operations, find threats, and manage supply chains.2:22 Their product is the application of AI, not the infrastructure.2:26 And here’s the turn.2:27 This endorsement comes at the exact moment the market is filled with tension.2:31 You have Michael Burry — the guy from 'The Big Short' — making a massive bet against the chipmaker Micron, basically saying this whole AI-driven memory boom is a classic bubble about to burst.2:41 He sees a historical boom-bust cycle.2:43 So on one hand, you have Burry screaming "It's a bubble!" and shorting the hardware.2:48 On the other, you have BlackRock quietly saying, "Maybe.2:51 But the software that runs on that hardware?2:53 That's real, that's sticky, and that's where the long-term value is." They're betting that even if the gold rush for chips cools down, the need for intelligent software to analyze all the data we're creating is PERMANENT.3:05 This isn't a tech story.3:07 It's a classic investment thesis battle happening in real time.3:10 The hardware race was chapter one.3:12 We just started chapter two: the software war.3:15 And the biggest wallets on Wall Street are finally choosing their sides.
