0:00 The Nasdaq just snapped back, gaining over one-point-one percent on Monday, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index finally breaking an eight-day losing streak.0:09 After last week's bruising, this is the market waking up and deciding it over-corrected.0:14 As we track here every morning, the real action wasn't just the numbers, but what was moving them.0:20 So here's the sweep.0:21 Amazon was the heavyweight, climbing five percent after Morgan Stanley named it a top pick.0:26 That lifted everything, especially AI stocks like Palantir and Datadog, which both jumped over four percent.0:33 Speaking of AI, chip startup Tenstorrent just secured one-point-five BILLION dollars in funding, valuing the company at over six billion.0:41 Meanwhile, the US government officially barred federal agencies from using products from the Chinese AI firm DeepSeek, citing national security.0:49 On the EV front, Rivian beat third-quarter production numbers but kept its full-year guidance flat, which the street did not love.0:56 And Tesla is facing new scrutiny over higher spending and projected negative cash flow through 2026, putting all the pressure on its Full Self-Driving software to deliver profits.1:07 Oh, and the Supreme Court told Google "no" on its challenge to a patent review policy, a quiet win for patent-holders.1:14 Okay, so let's dig into that market bounce.1:16 Why did it happen?1:17 Did some revolutionary new tech drop over the weekend?1:20 Nope.1:21 One analyst at Rosenblatt Securities put it perfectly.1:24 He said, quote, "Nothing changed between Friday's close and this morning's open, other than nothing bad happened over the weekend." That's it.1:32 The market had gotten so negative, so oversold, that the rubber band just snapped back.1:37 It was a sentiment shift, pure and simple.1:40 But don't get too comfortable.1:41 With earnings from Meta and Tesla due this week, we are far from out of the woods.1:46 But here's the story you might have missed under the market noise, and it's a BIG one.1:51 Amazon just announced a new software tool called TorchNeuron, and it's going into public beta TODAY.1:57 Here's why that matters.1:58 For years, Nvidia's real dominance wasn't just its chips; it was the software, CUDA, that made them easy to use.2:05 Developers are locked in.2:06 Well, TorchNeuron is a direct shot at that moat.2:09 It lets developers take code they ALREADY wrote for Nvidia's world and run it on Amazon's own Trainium AI chips with minimal changes.2:17 Amazon is making it easy, and FREE, to leave the Nvidia ecosystem.2:21 This isn't just about selling chips anymore.2:23 This is a software war.2:25 And that's the real story today.2:27 The market rebound is just a headline.2:29 The fight for the future of AI is about who can make it easiest for developers to build on their platform, and Amazon just made a massive move to break Nvidia's lock.
