0:00 One single mango tree in the whole savanna grew the sweetest, sunniest fruit.0:15 It was a special sweetness, a bit like the stories we heard about Ollie the Otter, and how the fireflies learned to share their light to make the whole meadow glow.0:49 This story is about a sweet mango, and a little lion cub named Leo.1:03 Leo had found the most perfect mango from that very tree.1:15 It was a beautiful orange-gold, and it felt warm from the afternoon sun.1:30 He carried it to his favorite spot under a big, shady acacia tree.1:43 This was HIS mango.1:47 He was so excited to eat it all by himself.1:56 He sniffed it.1:59 It smelled like sunshine and honey.2:06 He was just about to take a big, juicy bite when he heard happy little footsteps.2:23 It was his friends, Zina the zebra and Eli the baby elephant.2:36 "Leo!2:37 What are you doing?" called Zina.2:44 Leo quickly tucked the mango behind his back.2:53 A tight, funny feeling bloomed in his chest.3:02 He didn't want them to see it.3:08 He wanted it all.3:12 "Oh...3:13 nothing," he mumbled.3:17 But Eli’s little trunk was already wiggling, sniffing the sweet air.3:31 "I smell something yummy," he trumpeted softly.3:41 Leo’s heart felt like a little drum.3:48 Thump-thump-thump.3:52 He loved his friends.3:57 He loved playing chase with Zina and splashing in the waterhole with Eli.4:12 But this mango...4:15 this mango was special.4:20 It was his.4:22 The tight feeling felt bigger now.4:29 He didn't like this feeling.4:35 It made his paws feel prickly and his tummy feel worried.4:47 He just wanted to be alone with his treat.4:55 He looked at his friends’ faces.5:02 They weren't trying to take his mango.5:10 They just looked curious and happy to see him.5:19 And then he remembered the fireflies.5:27 One little light is nice.5:32 But many lights together… that’s magic.5:40 He looked down at the big, round mango.5:48 It was very big for one little lion cub.5:57 Maybe… just maybe… sharing wasn’t about losing something.6:08 Maybe it was about making something new.6:17 He took a slow, deep breath and pulled the mango from behind his back.6:31 "I found a mango," he said, his voice a little quiet.6:42 "A really good one.6:46 Do...6:47 do you want to try some?" Zina’s stripes seemed to wiggle with delight.7:02 Eli let out a happy little squeak.7:09 Leo felt that tight knot in his tummy start to melt away.7:20 He carefully split the mango into three pieces.7:30 One for Zina, one for Eli, and one for him.7:39 And a funny thing happened.7:45 As they sat there together, under the shady tree, the mango tasted even sweeter than he had imagined.8:06 The sunshine felt warmer.8:11 And the sound of his friends' happy munching was the best sound in the world.8:27 The happy feeling inside him wasn't from the sweet fruit.8:38 It was a different kind of warmth, a glowing feeling that came from sharing.8:54 The rest of the afternoon, they played their best-ever game of hide-and-seek, and Leo's happy roar echoed across the savanna as the sun painted the sky gold.
