0:00 The NFL is actively looking at adding a Thanksgiving Eve prime-time game.0:03 Just last week we were talking about how the league is running out of windows to colonize, and——well, they just found a new one.0:10 It’s the first time in league history they’ve seriously considered it.0:14 They’re thinking Week twelve, with both teams coming off a bye in Week eleven.0:18 The league’s scheduling guys are saying it’s a night that just “jumps out” for delivering a unique, massive audience.0:24 Of course it does.0:25 It’s another night of the week they don’t own yet.0:28 But the real work, the stuff that wins games in December, isn't happening in the league office.0:33 It's happening in places like Allen Park, Michigan.0:36 Amon-Ra St.0:36 Brown just completed his first fully healthy offseason since his knee surgery.0:40 Think about that.0:41 The guy just put up one hundred seventeen catches for over fourteen hundred yards and eleven touchdowns… while still getting back to one hundred percent.0:49 He became only the fourth player in NFL history to have three straight seasons with over one hundred catches and ten-plus touchdowns.0:57 And now he’s telling people, “this year, I feel like it was a little different.” That should be a terrifying sentence for every defensive coordinator in the NFC.1:05 He says he’s motivated every year, but this one feels new.1:08 He’s got the nucleus, the core of that Lions team is back, and you can just feel the confidence.1:13 This isn’t hope.1:14 This is expectation.1:15 After a nine-and-eight finish last year, getting back to the playoffs isn’t the goal, it’s the baseline.1:21 And it starts with your best player finally getting a full spring to build, not just to heal.1:26 That’s the kind of shift that doesn’t show up on a stat sheet in May, but it decides a division title in January.1:32 Then you look at a place like Baltimore.1:34 It’s the same story, different angle.1:36 You wanna know why the Ravens are always in the mix?1:39 It’s not just the scheme or the front office.1:41 It’s the locker room.1:42 Jaylinn Hawkins just got there, and he’s already talking about the veteran leadership.1:47 Specifically, he’s talking about Roquan Smith.1:49 He said, and I’m quoting here, Roquan is a “Really good… player, but like even better leader.” That’s the secret sauce.1:55 When a new guy walks in the door for voluntary workouts and immediately feels the standard, the franchise is healthy.2:02 It’s self-policing.2:03 It’s not about a coach yelling.2:04 It’s about your All-Pro linebacker setting a tone that everyone else has to match.2:09 That’s how you absorb new pieces without missing a beat.2:12 That’s what a real culture looks like, and Hawkins’s first impression tells you everything you need to know about why Baltimore just reloads instead of rebuilds.2:20 And while these guys are in the gym, the league itself is preparing for its own coming out party.2:25 The full two thousand twenty-six schedule drops on May fourteenth.2:29 We already know a few things.2:30 Week one, we get a Sunday nighter with some team—still TBD—visiting the Seahawks.2:35 But the real headline is what’s happening on September tenth.2:38 The San Francisco 49ers are playing the Los Angeles Rams… in Australia.2:42 At the Melbourne Cricket Ground.2:44 And you won’t be watching it on a traditional network.2:46 It’s on Netflix.2:47 This is part of a massive global push.2:49 We’re talking nine international games this season.2:52 There’s talk of the Chiefs playing in Madrid.2:54 The 49ers might play the Dolphins in Mexico.2:57 The map of the NFL is fundamentally changing, right now.3:00 It’s no longer just London and Mexico City.3:02 We’re talking about a truly global league, broadcast on streaming platforms, kicking off its season on another continent.3:08 So you have this incredible contrast.3:10 You have a star receiver in Detroit, finally healthy, quietly finding another gear.3:15 You have a culture-setter in Baltimore showing a new guy the ropes.3:18 All this granular, behind-the-scenes work… is the engine for this massive, globe-spanning machine that’s now scheduling games on Wednesday nights and in Australia.3:27 The league is getting bigger, louder, and more complex.3:30 But it all still comes down to one guy in a weight room feeling like, this year, something is different.
