In other words, YOU ALL were too good at picking winners!3:32 The favorites won, the longshots paid out, and the bookies had to pay up!3:36 August and September were so good for bettors, it more than offset the house's strong July.3:42 While their UK and Ireland online business was up a healthy fourteen percent, their overall growth took a one to two percentage point headwind.3:51 It’s the ultimate push and pull!3:53 The house builds a fortress, and the fans, with nothing but their gut and a little bit of luck, find a crack in the wall.4:01 You absolutely LOVE to see it.4:03 So what does it all add up to?4:05 What’s the big takeaway from a week of last-second goals, undefeated streaks, and betting giants getting knocked back on their heels?4:14 It’s that the script is NEVER written.4:16 The beauty of the game is its chaos.4:18 A power play can become your opponent's greatest weapon.4:22 An undefeated season can hang by a three-point thread in front of eighty-five thousand people.4:28 And sometimes, just sometimes, the players AND the fans can beat the house at its own game.4:34 This week proved that anything can happen.4:36 And that, folks, is why we’ll be right back here next week, ready for the next unbelievable play.
